Another wonderful year of home-smoking as it becomes more and more  popular! Having been running Smoky Jo's with pride and passion since since 2005 who else would you want to teach you the craft of smoking?

Some pictures from the last few months to the end of August: A little fishing, a lot of smoking and some celebrity-cheffing at the CLA Game Fair at Blenheim Palace! And some lovely food at a Wild Boar smoking course...


April nearly over and already we have a few one-day and one two-day courses under our belts!


Spices for sausages, catching a trout for smoking, refreshments after fishing, Smoky Geo and guests on a bad hair day, hot smoked salmon and sampling the smoked goodies!


2014 Has seen the first ever "Festival of Smoke" at The Wild Boar and we have already had two courses here at Shap.

Hot smoked sausages with Felicity the filing cabinet smoker in the background, happy but cold smokers at Shap and a whole lot of smoke at The Wild Boar!


Our first smoking course of 2014 marked Burn's Night at The Wild Boar, and a cracking good feast we all had.

Some happy smokers, a haggis fresh from the hot smoker and as it was served later - with an amazing neap and tatie mash - with smoked butter!

I have forgotten which course it was that the smoked steaks came out...
